We consider counselling when we are struggling with an aspect of our lives. It may be thoughts, feelings or behaviour or a sense of things not being right. It is often difficult to talk to people we know. Counselling gives you a safe space and time to look at any aspect of your life in an accepting, confidential environment. Counselling helps to give perspective on our current situation. When our lives are so busy, this space is important.
My areas of particular special interest are anxiety, depression, working with young people aged 11 and upwards, bereavement, loss, stress and transgender and identity issues. I welcome all people from any background.
I aim to provide a safe, empathic, non-judgemental environment so you feel comfortable to talk about anything that is bothering or worrying you. I hope to help you access and increase your resilience and give you the personal space to look at any changes you want to make to move forward.
